CAVR Donor & Supporter Policy

Constitutional Advocates for Victims’ Rights (CAVR) is committed to transparency, accountability, and respect when it comes to the generous support we receive from donors and community partners.

1. Use of Donations

All donations made to CAVR are used to support our mission of connecting accident victims with resources, advocacy, and community support. This may include:

Outreach and awareness programs.
Development of online tools and support services.
Operational costs necessary to provide free resources to victims.

2. Donor Privacy

We respect the privacy of our supporters.

Donor information (such as name, email, or donation history) will never be sold, traded, or shared with outside organizations.
Donor contact information may be used to provide receipts, updates, or newsletters (if opted in).
Donors may opt out of communications at any time.

3. Security of Transactions

We use secure, encrypted payment processors to ensure that all donations are handled safely. CAVR does not store sensitive financial information such as credit card numbers.

4. Tax Information

If CAVR is operating as or under a registered nonprofit entity (such as a 501(c)(3)):

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Donors will receive a confirmation email or receipt for their records.

5. Refund Policy

All donations are considered final. If you believe an error has occurred in processing your donation, please contact us at info@cavrights.com within 30 days, and we will work to resolve the issue.

6. Acknowledgment of Support

With donor consent, we may publicly acknowledge contributions (such as listing donors in an annual report or online). Donors who prefer to remain anonymous can request confidentiality at any time.
